I've just realized that my post for june was just one!
Absolutely different with may 2006.
What was happened in june?
First, it was about my paper to makassar. I always thought about it everytime..
2nd, I have many patients...
3rd, my colleagues and I were busy hanging' around..
4th, I came back to padang and was busy...again with the paper and duty day..
So the biggest problem was about my paper.
My paper was about a case of a female infant that had an atresia of her small bowel part. The type of atresia itself was the rarest one in the world (popular as christmas tree deformity). In international journals that use english as the languange, only 155 cases were found of this kind of atresia since 1961. It was very hard to look for the literatures, to start writing it down (because you were disturbed by the patient's problem in the ward...), but finally I was finished it....And I went to Makassar bringing my poster with theme : Christmas tree deformity. But of course there were many exciting topics in makassar since this was a big meeting of surgeons around indonesia, like face off in Surabaya (tough the name of operation itself is still being a controversy among Indonesian's surgeon, especially the plastic surgeons).
2nd..busy with patients...hmm..I think I shouldn't talk about it too much, because this is just the routine part of my life.
3rd...busy with friends! My colleagues were busy with playing the balak and watching the world cup! Since we lived in Bukittinggi and no legal SCTV's relay station, so we have to go to the cafe watching the world cup. The playmaker of the balak was my colleagues from UNPAD, Armia, MD. He was originally coming from Aceh, but grown up in Surabaya that makes him very fluent speaking javanese (tough he understands Aceh languange very good too, since he spent his PTT time in Pidie, Aceh). He was very happy playing the balak, because he never found this in Bandung..hehe..(I think someday if I visit him, I will bring the balak for the gift..hehe..). And this man was meeting right partners to play, my friend Ihsan,MD, Co assistant Adi and his police friend Ardi...
Because I have problem in writing down my paper and i love watching soccer too, so almost everynight we went to a small cafe, watching soccer game, playing balak and typing my paper!
A day before my leaving for bukittinggi, we play balak together until 3.00 in the morning...wow!very tired that I also had an operation from 9.00 to 4.00 in the afternoon at the next day! So when I was coming back to Padang at the night, about 1/3 part of my way to padang, I was asked my parents to change driving, because I was very tired...
At the next day I came back to my beloved hospital in padang, RS Dr.M.Djamil..
Finally I close my Bukittinggi experiences!
Bye-bye Bukittinggi!
See you someday!
